Sometimes guys just aren't made to play in the NFL. But he sure was a college superstar. He was amazing to watch!

Nate: While you might think it is dumb, perhaps Mr. Crouch does not.

I don't purport to know his thinking in all of this, but perhaps he's not the type of kid who values jerking other people around just to "make a few million dollars."

If he truly does not want to play football, then I think he's a standup guy for admitting that and not wasting anyone's time about it.

Not every good college football player will/or wants to play pro ball for the rest of his life.

It seems Eric faced the facts that he probably wasn't going to be a big time NFL player, so he decided to get out of the game on top.

Now he can continue his life and get a job elsewhere and maybe start a family or just chill for a while.

Sometimes these athletes get so caught up in the game that they don't enjoy life, their family, or their experiences.
