I was a chaperone at a little one's slumber party last night for a little while and they were playing the Ouiga board. I've played this game once or twice but always figured somebody was moving it. But I told them to ask a question about me that none of them would know. I told them to ask the Ouiga board what tattoo I'm getting. None of them knew about this. I'm not discussing this sort of thing with little kids. They asked the question and I anticipated the board spelling out "target" or "bullseye." But this is what made my mouth drop to the floor. Instead of spelling it, the little pointer did three little circles, one closer to the middle than the other. I started laughing my butt off because it DREW the tattoo. None of these little muchkins knew that. Whose ever played this game? Any weird experiences? Think it's evil or somethin'? It's crazy.

Tasha Dear-Be careful. Some will mock me I'm sure but those boards can cause some trouble. My Sis used to "play" a lot. She swears she has talked to our departed relatives. All that caused some visions (may have been nightmares) but it messed her up emotionally for a while. Could be the power of suggestion but I'd use the Ouija with care.

When I was about 18 I played one one night...and I KNEW that neither one of us was moving the pointer. It was as freaky as heck...and shortly thereafter my life went to absolute hell in a handbasket (long, scary story). I'll never touch one of those things again. *shudder*

Thanks LilRed and TDM for the advice. It's been awhile since I played it. I suppose we should hide the board from the little ones.
