Man I wish the regs had got the right call on that one. I didn't think ISu had a shot in hell against FSu but they almost did it. Its true that ISU got hosed but in reality there waasn't much of a chance of Isu beating FSU anyway. Oh well. Hopefully the calls will go are way later in the year.
GO BIG 12.

It doesn't even necessarily mean that ISU would have won had the right call been made, but it surely would've given them a fair shot. Don't worry, I was pulling for your 'Noles and I'm glad they won, but I do think the refs missed a BIG TD there. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" />

Much as I wish that Wallace did get in the endzone, I think the call is correct.
Remember, that he has the ball on the right side of his body. His foot was in bounds, but when he dives, the question is whether the ball stay in bounds or not. The ref was two feet away to see it and it was a judgement call. Did the ref place the down marker at the 1 yard or 1 foot line for the last play?

Well, apparently there will never be a total agreement on this, but the cool thing is this: It's only week one and we already have controversy. Could this be the year that the BCS gets shot down in shambles? One thing's for sure, it's obviously going to be a great season, judging by the 3 or 4 great games we've had so far!!!! Let's get ready.

The contraversy is obviously the main topic here. But something that is being missed is the bottom line fact that the Cyclones have proved that they are a contender and they have been sorely underatted. They didn't get the call because they were the lesser rated team in an opening game set up to get Bowden his important win. Waring to the Big 12....... don't overlook this team........and a quarterback that should probably be a Hiesman candidate. Everyone wants to say the Noles are overrated ...... well maybe Iowa State is actually that good.......ya never know.
