It should be very easy to see who the guilty parties are. And because TP & LT have been very explicit about none of this being permitted anymore, then yes, the guilty parties should have their posting privileges revoked. I don't give a flip if any of them are admins, mods, or whatever. Ban them and anyone who starts up a thread with PPPP in the title. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="mad-flaming.gif" />

Like JJ said, there is nothing wrong with doing a couple of posts in a row every now and then. I just BTTTed something that I posted a week ago -- is that considered PPPP?

The problem lies when somebody submits 8 of the exact same posts all at the same time. This continues to happen, and is not only boring -- it crashes the board.

I have only done this once in my time on these boards -- during the Survivor challenge when everyone else was doing it and when it was encouraged for me to do it.

1. UDC will attest to the fact that almost everyone of those days with 100-200 posts were not done by PPPPing. That was done when I did not have a day job and was only gigging at night. I was just online all day and replied VALIDLY to many different threads (including Survivor I and II, etc....)
2. The 1,000 post day was done after the announcement that the accboards were shutting down. I decided that I wanted to have the record when the boards shut down. I got it, only to see Bane use his moderator status to beat it. I knew it would cause a lot of talk on the board.
3. PPPP did not cause the server to crash on the accboards. So, it was pointless, but not harmful. Here it IS harmful!!!!!!

If the morons here would use a little common sense they could do it the right way and not get into trouble...

A oost every 30 seconds will do nothing to the server but it is people with MOD/ADMIN Priv. that are abusing the no flood control given to them and crashing the board in the process..
