Although Tech is part of the ACC, I would choose Colorado over Virginia anyday! I'm originally from Colorado and like to see them win...just not against us...

I am going to play the semantics game for a sec, so just indulge me.
I want the media to call us non-BCS if they absolutely must call us "something" rather than the label mid-major.
Sure, they can say that technically there isn't a non-BCS since everyone has some kind of theoretical chance to get into a BCS game, but that is like saying that I am Anna Kournikova's mid-boyfriend or mid-sex slave, because "theoretically" I have a chance to be her boyfriend or sex slave.
I really think the media use the term mid-major because they don't want to draw attention to the fact that there are 40 plus teams who have been excluded from the $$$ party.
I am going to demand that every website that I see calling us mid-major to start calling us non-BCS instead.
Mid-major implies weakness to me, and it also doesn't truly describe the truthful situation, which is the fact that we are excluded from the BCS monopoly.
Who's with me?
