Sometimes I really wonder about people I dont consider this an emergency

A lady called 911 b/c someone stole her new deer feeder and 40# bag of corn. She beleives it was her sister-in-law b/c last year she stole her deer stand I can hardly wait til the season starts. Something tells me the whole family has matching camo and orange vest!

Yeah, we had fun with the police last night too. We have a neighbor that we refer to as The Beverly Hillbillies or sometimes the Adaams Family. They have a teenage son that loves to scare my five year old with scary masks.

They decided to decorate their front yard lighthouse (don't ask) this year by dressing it up and putting one of the masks on it. My daughter has been too scared to go out front all week, but don't have a good enough relationship to talk to them about it.

Yesterday, she finally went outside to play with the other neighborhood kids and lo and behold the ******* teenage son (16, btw) came running out with a mask on and scared the hell out of her again. Rt1 was ready to just kick the kid's ass at that point, but instead I told the teenage girl to have her parents call me when they got home. No call, of course.

Last night, I had family over, my sister, who is wheelchair-ridden, her 20 year old son, and my 21 year old nephew (different sister is his mom).. oh yeah, and Hogie. We had "game night" where I cooked my butt off and then we ate and played games, etc. My teenage daughter went to the movies with her boyfriend.

Anyway.. my sister and nephew left at 10:30, my daughter arrived home at 11:00, and at 11:30 the police were at my door to tell me that someone had stolen the mask off the decorated lighthouse next door and my neighbors were accusing my kids of doing it.

I was honest with the officer about everything that had happened and told him that I was glad the mask was gone, but I certainly didn't steal it. We have enough juvenile delinquents running around here and that mask looked very expensive. In hindsight, I'm not surprised it's gone.

Oh well. Having the police come visit is fun. I'm sure they wanted a break from doing mundane things like getting drunk drivers off the roads last night and trying to find out who our sniper is so that my dauther's field hockey team can resume practice and games.
