Depending on how this first version is accepted, I might do this everyday for a while (to satisfy our off-season football cravings). Ok, there are three questions for each ACC team so everybody gets to answer trivia about their favorite team. Go ahead and try to answer as many of the 27 questions as possible (take a wild guess if you don't know it) and later tonight, I'll give out the correct answers and tally up all the responses. We'll see who can talk the talk AND walk the walk.

One more quick note...please don't look over everybody's answers until you've submitted yours and don't look elsewhere for them. Try to go from memory on these.

Ok, let's get this thing started...

CLEMSON
1) In 1999, what quarterback got injured during the season, opening the door for Woody Dantzler?

2) Who is the Tigers all-time leader in rushing yards?

3) Who replaced Danny Ford as head coach in 1990?

DUKE
1) The last time Duke won a game was in 1999. Who did they beat in that game?

2) Who was the head coach the last time Duke played in a bowl game?

3) Steve Spurrier coached at Duke for 3 years. (Yes or No answer) Did he win an ACC Title during his stay?

FLORIDA STATE:
1) Name the 4 ACC teams that have beaten FSU since they joined the league?

2) Who was the starting QB for the Noles in 1996 and 1997?

3) What converted QB was the starting fullback for FSU in 1999?

GEORGIA TECH:
1) Bobby Ross came to Tech and won a national title in 1990. In 1987, who did he replace as the Jackets head coach?

2) In 1998, Tech set an NCAA record for consecutive games with a defensive touchdown. How many games in a row did they do this?

3) Before Joe Hamilton shattered all of the records at Tech, which QB held nearly all of those records?

MARYLAND:
1) What was the name of the former Terp head coach who ran the "run and shoot" style offense during the mid-90's?

2) Who was the record-setting quarterback during those years?

3) LaMont Jordan set a school record for single game rushing yards in 1999 against Virginia. How many yards did he gain in the game? (Must be within 15 yards over or under)

NORTH CAROLINA:
1) In 1997, UNC was not invited to a major bowl despite being 10-1. What bowl did they go to and who did they beat?

2) True or False. Kenan Stadium is named after a former football coach at Carolina?

3) Who is UNC's all-time leader in interceptions for a career?

NC STATE:
1) Who is the all-time leader in receptions and recieving yards?

2) During that same time, the QB for the Wolfpack broke most of the passing records. Name him.

3) What current SEC head coach was once the head coach at State?

VIRGINIA:
1) Name the twin brothers that played for the Cavaliers during the mid-90's.

2) Who is UVA's all-time passing leader?

3) Has Virginia ever won an outright ACC title?

WAKE FOREST:
1) Which former QB holds the ACC record for most passes and completions in a single game?

2) Name Wake's last 1000 yard rusher in a season. (HINT: Happened within last 5 years)

3) When was the last time the Deacs won a bowl game?

[Edit was to correct alignment of questions]

LT & Baked, try to answer the other 24 questions too. You aren't limited to answering questions just for your school.

FSU Questions:

(1) NC State twice, UNC, Virgina. That was it.
(2) Thad Busby was the QB in 96 and 97.
(3) Dan Kendra was the converted QB. I really wanted to see what he was capible of at QB, though. He is in a way like McPherson, a toy you can't wait to unleash.
