For anyone who enjoyed tuning into John Hope's tropical updates for the latest on an approching hurricane, this is very sad news indeed.

I'd been really worried about him the past couple of years. I remember thinking about how rough he looked a couple of hurricanes ago.

He will definitely be missed....

He was definitely one of the best known weather experts out there. Not only knowledgable as hell, but on some of the weather specials would interject some humor into situations as well.
