Here we are yet again - another promising regular season of 100+ wins and a division championship, another October collapse. It's deja vu 10 times over.
Once again the Braves had chances (They stranded 12 runners)...Once again they couldn't come up with a big October hit.
I've been a Braves fan since before the great run started in 1991 and hope that they can somehow put together a hot streak each October (all you've got to do is go 11-8 in the playoffs to win the World Series), but year after year, it looks like they get further and further away from really contending for it.
What's even worse is we have to sit back and look at Barry prancing around out there for at least another week. Here's to a sweep by the Red Birds in the NLCS. <img border="0" alt="[Cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/cheers.gif" />

The regular season means about [] much in baseball. Why even watch it when you know that nobody is going to start playing for real until October? That's a lot of games that don't mean a damn thing....

braves got stuck in one of the worst divisions in a long time for the NL east and they win all these games and everyone starts saying its the best braves team ever.
why expect anything more then a division championship?
