my question is.. did you think the lawyers should NOT be all over it? there seems to be no information available to show circuit city was or was not negligent.

OK Maybe this is just me but what are you doing letting your 5 y/o walk around Circuit city without you being right there...

For all anyone knows this girl could have been climbing the TV stand to get the remote which they usually keep on top of the TV's...

In my opininon the mother is at fault for not keepnig a better eye on her child...

And for those of you who do not know YES I have kids 7 y/o and 4y/o and I keep them right by my side at all stores for that very reason...

If I were Circuit City I would not settle nothing until she was able to prove neglect on the stores part. They can't prove the little girl was climbing on the TV and the mother can't prove she wasn't....

I smell something very fishy here...
