Big surprise, ESPN blew the doctor's statement out of proportion.
[quote]Bengals public relations released this statement late Thursday night from Dr. Lonnie Paulos, who operated on Carson Palmer

Bengals spin? It's the doctor, who is not affliated with the Bengals, that is refuting the story. The Bengals organization just put the story out.

That is why low hits like that are so dangerous. It doesnt take much to shift the weight and make the knee twist the wrong way a little bit when you get hit low like that.
Just for clarification im not saying Kimo's hit was dirty.

BR,,,who pays the doc? I really am not trying to argue here, I just feel that the situation may be more serious than you. I am a Colts fan. If it were Manning I might look at it in a different light. Best of luck to Palmer.

I thought it was dirty.
Not specifically geared to destroy Carson's career...but the guy seemed to roll a bit far and in just the right direction to hit Carson. Maybe he thought he had a chance to disrupt a pass, not necessarily hurt Palmer...nevertheless low hits/clips are illegal for a reason. This is the reason!

The guy has put out the story in multiple outlets that the original AP article was wrong. ESPN has now retracted their story as well, saying that it is in fact NOT career threatening.

You can look at it both ways and we won't know who was right until Palmer is ready to play or he just can't.
If he's down for his career this will be devastating to the sitting. First Kenyon Martin and now Carson Palmer, our $120 Million man. We can't catch a break. I pray to god that he gets back on the field for opening day of next year not just for the city but for him.
