i really liked craig in layer cake. when i saw him play that role, i immediately thought he would make a great bond. yea, its a different look, so what. the franchise needs a beath of fresh air anyway. they havent had a good one since goldeneye. hopefully craig will be able to take the series in a different direction.

British is british, I don't know why the actor has to be brunett.

However, Brosnan does have some flair about him.

Also this "revinvention" tripe is overdone. They made changes w/ "Her Majesty's Secret Service" and that was more or less, a disaster.

I wouldn't say chaneges for OHMSS.... but I htought hte plot of cosmetic killers was a stretch on hte usual world domination theme.

I watched his, Daniel Graig, movie layer Cake tonight. Seeing that movie I definately see why the Barbara Broccoli wanted Craig as a new bond. He's as serious as Timothy Dalton's bond but as suave as Connery. Less sly humor than the average Roger More Bond.

From what I gather is that they wanted a more serious Bond and I think Craig can deliver. He's a worhty successor to Brosnan's movies.

That is pretty bold to say OHMSS sucked MORE THAN Moonraker.

it was the acting not the script. and i don't mean the guy who played the bad guy in OhMSS but the guy who played bond god he was awful.

I think he was married in the first one (or was it the second one?) because I think she gets killed in like a drive by (IIRC). I wish they had picked a better looking Bond girl though.

NO Bond was only married once and it was in OHMSS (at least as far as teh movies go). Tracy if am not mistaken... I haven't watched OHMSS in a long time. And if I reember correctly he goes on vacation for some reason... meets up with this royal who has a daughter... they fall in love somehow he goes on his mission (the plot of OHMSS) and when its over they have the wedding and they are off in their car for honeymoon and she gets shot by one of the main villian's henchmen.
