I am. Florida has not seen this kind of talent. Say all you want about how good the SEC is, but until all the SEC teams get together and form one, none of them will beat Ohio State.
Ohio State wins the NC and Michigan destroys USC in the Rose Bowl.

Well, I'd say Boise St deserves it more, but Florida is #2 on the list.

Yeah, that's what people said before the 1996 Fiesta Bowl (1995 season). Only UF had an undefeated team then to make a stronger case...
This is not 2002. Tressel is not keeping scores close. I think he'll go for the jugular on this one.

2002 wasn't Tressel's choice... he didn't have the offensive firepower (QB or WR, had a great RB in Clarett) to put a lot of points on the board.
I fully expect OSU to put a 40 spot on Florida... Chris Leak is always good for a turnover or two as well, so I expect OSU to win the game by 2 scores minimum.

Boise St is undefeated. They did everything asked of them.

Maybe that's their AD's fault for scheduling weak teams? Just because someone is undefeated doesn't mean they are the toughest team in the country.

I checked their schedule. Ore St: 9 wins (including U$C and Ore), Hawaii: 10 wins (including Purdue)...That's not bad.
Nevertheless the fault lies with the SEC ADs who don't schedule the Boise States of the world.
You're a libertarian Kev, you should be apalled at this. Boise St did what they could, they should be rewarded. Putting a 1-loss team over an undefeated team is a subsidy.
Let the free market prevail! Put Boise St in the game. If the SEC is so deep, then surely UF, Ark, Aub, Ten or LSU can find room to schedule them, and prove they don't belong.

I am, and I am on record several times saying I think the BCS should be replaced with a playoff system. My main argument is with people that say UF doesn't deserve to play for the NC. I won't say that Michigan doesn't deserve it, but they shouldn't beat out UF just because their loss was to OSU. 4 team, hell, 8 team playoff would be fine with me.

The BCS is better than things were before the BCS.
HOWEVER, it has failed at what it was designed to do.
It's a few decades past time for a playoff.

I never said Florida didn't deserve to play for the championship. I would just argue that Michigan, Boise St, etc. had just as much right and in the case of Michigan that you have a hard time explaining the leap frog after USC lost.
