RE: The Controversy surround Tulsa's FB Stadium
I divided the seating capacity of the remodeled Skelly Stadium into two parts. The first part what is the seating capacity after the renovation?

The second part is why take out 10,000 seats in the west stands? Regarding the west stands, I am in agreement that too many seats dampens TU's ability to raise ticket prices and to sell season tickets. That is the situation with Skelly now. I just would accomplish the downsizing another way. Just cover the south end zone seats with a tarp. Also, double or triple the number of ailes and put in large theater seats rather than small ones in order to reduce the seating capiacity in the west stands. Also, put the concession stands at the top rows of the west stands. Seats are eliminated this way but, TU would have the option of easily expanded capacity in the future by retaining the west stands. I am sure there are other clever ways to make use of the west stands rather than tearing them down and retain the flexibility to easily expand.

It appears tearing down the west stands is a done deal. I hope I am wrong. But Tulsa rivals staff have hinted at this several weeks before the official TU announcement that was released.
