I think part of the reason is Chan has a mortal fear of running it up on anybody to any degree. Pretty much all Q4 in Blacksburg was run run run, soft drop 6 defense.

But yea, Chan won't run up the score. But I dont think there was any excuse for Glennon to complete all those passes there near the end.
Word-Daniels is a good corner, but needs a little more work. But we've got him for another few years, so he should turn out to be quite a good one.

Definitely. I think he had one or two INTs in the game but he just wasn't strong enough to hold on and the Hokie ripped it away.

Well..Harper made a heck of a play on the first one. And just to think, they don't score 7, and we have really good field position if they don't complete that. They were inside the 10 with a 3rd and long.

Terpy - I don't know..they just seem pretty cocky. I don't mind though - let them make the trip and witness a beating. ;-)

I can't say I don't disagree with Chan's thinking as long as we don't lose one like that. I don't mind going conservative. If we had beaten VT by 30+, which was possible, I think they come in next year ready to give us a beating, just like we did this year. If we quietly win the games, it all works out in the end anyways.

Isn't this the first year we don't have any players from the Fridge era on our team? We had Nate Curry last year.

I don't think so. They would have to be in their 6th year with a redshirt year and a medical redshirt year.

their prob just being optimistic....ok yea..their being stupid. i was trying to be nice. i know the season has been rough..but look on the bright side..b-ball season is right around the corner.
