Can Vanderbilt go bowling?
Next week they have Miami (OH) at home, are off a week, at Florida on November 3, host Kentucky on November 10, are at Tennessee on November 17, and then conclude the season at Wake Forest.

Here are the SEC's bowl tie-ins:

Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, LA (vs. BCS)
Capital One Bowl in Orlando, FL (vs. Big 10)
Outback Bowl in Tampa, FL (vs. Big 10)
Cotton Bowl in Dallas, TX (vs. Big 12)
Chick-Fil-A Bowl in Atlanta, GA (vs. ACC)
Liberty Bowl in Memphis, TN (vs. Conference USA)
Music City Bowl in Nashville, TN (vs. ACC)
Independence Bowl in Shreveport, LA (vs. Big 12)

Assuming Vandy beats Tennessee and Miami (OH), I'm thinking Florida and LSU get the top two spots (which might be dangerous to say before the play Auburn); South Carolina, Georgia, and Kentucky divvy up the Outback, Chick-Fil-A and Music City Bowls; Alabama and Auburn will take the Cotton and Liberty Bowls.

If Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and Arkansas are all 6-6, who gets the last spot?

My guess is Tennessee. I think the Vols would draw the best TV ratings.

As long as Vandy does not slip against Miami (OH) I can see them bowling. Miami is a decent team and doing well in the MAC this year, but they have not looked too great in non-conference games.
