Fulmer is on very thin ice at Tennessee. Remarkably, the Vols may back into an SEC East title and save his job. The KY game next week will sort out a lot.

The Vols got pummeled by both Florida and Alabama - the two biggest games on the schedule were blow out losses. They got abused by a 6-5 California team. They had a remarkable comeback against Vanderbilt, and have a major test versus Kentucky. They will be extremely lucky to win the East this year.

The fanbase here is not happy. The big boosters are not happy. If the Vols go up to Lexington and lose, things are going to get ugly. If they get blown out, it will be even uglier. At a minimum, some assitants will probably lose their jobs. If the Vols lay an egg in a bowl game as well...

We at Tech can only hope that Chan will be coaching his final game in about 55 minutes.

Franchione and Nutt did it right. Beat a top ranked team on the way out the door.

With openings at Michigan, Texas A&M, and Nebraska, the rest will have to fight for table scraps.
