(and by the way I will come back for the BB game on SAT)

The schedule was what it was and the relative "toughness" of our opponents was what it was.

Call me a happy clapper if you wish. I must point out that I have sat through way too many 1-10, 2-9 type seasons and on old boards before this oneI was probably one of the loudest Rip bashers there was! Iw will not bash a team that has donr this type turn around after having seen teams in the past start 2-4 and finish 2-9. Thes players and coaches did a tremendous job of getting it togther and finishing. If being happy that a team from the University of Memphis is going to a bowl and went 7-5 makes me a "happy Clapper" then call me that. I will still donate, go to games join the HH and do whatever it takes to make the football program better. I will not "*****" on a message board and moan about how we didn't do this or that WE WON SEVEN GAMES AND ARE GOING TO A BOWL!!!!!!!!

Good. Now answer the question. Are you satisfied with the caliber of football currently being displayed? Is it good football or just good enough football? Here, I'll even answer for you... If the Liberty Bowl (or more) is your dream/hope, then you are not satisfied.

I'm delighted with our progress, I'm happy to be going to New Orleans. I think we should also be able to improve the quality of football we currently play. What is so wrong with that statement?

Fans- everyone has their own thoughts and opinions about everything.
My thought is that the season would have had a different complexion if the team had been healthy thru out it.
You can have the best recruits, the best facilities, and a OCS but if the team experiences key position injuries the team will struggle due to the fact that other position players will have to step into positions they haven't practiced.
The tigers aren't deep with talent and I think that the team has done well, well enough to earn a bowl bid playing a IMO very worthy challenger out of the Sun Belt, probably Troy.

I have barked at some people for the bashing, but usualy because I think it is unreasonable. I just think that some of us are over the top with our enthusiasim, and some of us are over the top with our doom and gloom.

The truth is somewhere in between, no? I think most people , if they would be painfully honest, expected 7-5. I read it in some pubs preseason. I am a fan, so preseason I am never objective. I think our players are the best in the nation---( see above--over the top enthusuastic) I also think that we are paying the devil for poor recruiting-----mainly by JLD. The defense needs a ton of improvement---it doesn't take an analyst to see that.

Yes, there can be coexistence. With real discussion, and not over the top enthusiasim or bashing. I expect a conf title in 2008--I really do. The pressure should start to go up---soon.
