The coach
I guess someone has to start this playing time situation....I don't think the right people are playing, the right number of minutes. I'll go further and say I think if the right people were playing at the right time, Tulsa would have at least 3 or 4 more wins!!!!!!! In the UTEP game, a player played about 30 minutes, scored 2 points, had 3 T/O's and hardly any rebounds(2 or 3). It ain't his night....play someone else like Reese or Andrews. This isn't unusual, it's the norm for different players, different nights. Our coach may get the team to play hard but he's got to coach smart, which I don't think he does!!!

Unfortunately coach Woj will have trouble doing that. He is learning OJT, and might be ready for a head coaching job in maybe 3 years. Attending one of the early season games I saw this coming in conference. I know he is currently the head Coach, but it doesn't mean he was ready.

Have to say happily that its time to eat some crow. The team did a complete
about face around 1/3 of the way through the Conference season. Can't say
how happy I to be wrong about the coach. It helped that the players finally seemed to get it also. Best luck to the team.

During 08/09 season Wojo actually seemed to have more flexibility than during 09/10 season. Don't know why the reason for the turn-a-round. More of a regression and than progress.

I really don't think the team is as bad as some think or the coaching is as bad. Y'all gambled on a young PG and the gamble didn't turn out. If we were to swap starting guards i would not be surprised to see Tulsa as the two seed and us scrambling to figure out what happened. We lost a lot when coach X did his disappearing act and took our recruits with him. Luckily we had a group of talented experienced guards who took up the slack and helped keep us focused. A good point guard and a reliable outside shooter and y'alls team would be dangerous.
