Who wins tomorrow?
Looks like Obama destroyed his chances in Ohio IMHO, with his Canadian NAFTA gaffe (and going home instead of campaigning solid through Tuesday).

What do you all think? 6 more weeks of Hillary/Obama infighting or not?

RE: Who wins tomorrow?
So, who "won" Texas? With the primary-"caucus" split, it looks to me like Obama may come out with more Texas delegates. However, since the results are primarily symbolic, the primary results, which Hillary won, could be considered more important.

I have the dubious privileges of saying that I voted twice in the same election, and that I voted with my name and address on the voting results. Guess I can resign myself to a deluge of political mailings (not that I don't get enough already).

While some caucus results aren't in (some apparently didn't start until almost midnight) I think Hillary will pick up a net of 25 delegates on Obama with the wins in Ohio, Texas, and RI.

That makes Pennsylvania the contest for "all the marbles".. and I pity those people living there.. Robo-phone calls morning noon and night.... tons of garbage showing up in the mailbox, people knocking on your door...

Both Hillary and Obama will dumping all their money into the state.

Don't think so, but it'll probably have a big effect on the superdelegates.

Its 188 delegates.. the largest number in one state left.

Clinton has an average of 9 point lead in the polls in PA.

RE: Who wins tomorrow?
According to the news this morning, Hillary would have to win 64% of the popular vote from here on out to catch Obama in the delegate count.

I don't think that is happening.

I also do not think that Obama can win Pennsylvania either.

He will continue to win the smaller states though like Mississippi.

What will be interesting is how they resolve Michigan and Florida. They are going to have to do something.

Yeah, I was just saying it probably awards delegates proportionally. With the way things are going in these, neither will get a big win delegate-wise. So superdelegates are probably more important the rest of the way.

I don't see how Michigan can count, since Hillary was the only one on the ballot.

I just saw something on the news crawl about a DNC proposal for both Michigan and Florida to "revote".....

That sounds fishy.... Aren't "Rules supposed to be rules"???

Searching google news for "disenfranchised" yields 1983 results today. I suggest we keep track of this number until the democratic convention.

Q: How much would a redo cost and who pays?

A: This is the sticky part. Florida spent $29 million on its primary, which included other elections and ballot issues, and Michigan spent $15 million.

Dean says the national party will not pay for more voting. The governors and state legislatures say they won't pay.

The Florida Democratic Party estimates the cost of a mail-in vote at $6 million. Clinton and Obama are both prodigious fundraisers, but they haven't agreed on the need for a do-over or whether they'd pay for it.

Fun facts on Florida and Michigan redos.....

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/20...-QnA_N.htm

I bet phones in Hollywood, Seattle, DC and New York will be ringing with the DNC begging for money to fund redos.
