Let's start a thread of all the idiotic proposed campaign promises and policies that we are forced to endure during the presidential election season.

Change in general.

Obama: Raise taxes on the people who work so the people who refuse to work can live better. Not only do I think that's pretty stupid, it's self defeating and only serves to perpetuate laziness by those who don't want to earn their keep.

Obama: "I can no more disown Rev. Wright than I can disown my grandmother." 2 weeks later he disowned him. I wonder what his grandmother is thinking right about now?

Obama will have the oil companies pay (in part) families....$1,000.

OBama gave a terrible speech on Thursday. He has no intention of drilling for more oil and proposed we be energy independent in 10 years....that greats..........what am I supposed to do until he and Al Gore invent a car that runs on an alternative fuel and that I can afford with the taxes he will be increasing on me......

He lost me when he said he would cut taxes on 95% of Americans.........What about the increase in my captial gains taxes and dividends....yeah. We middle class folks can't depend on the government for retirement. He wants windfall taxes that the oil companies will pass along to me at the pump. What about those taxes on my cell phone bill to pay for poor people who get free phone service to peddle drugs and do some hookin' in the slums of the Obamaville's. Why do poor people get so much and working people have to pay for it. Welfare State is back...and Obama will be the welfare president......he has a new deal and for working people its the wrong deal...Homeless, unemployed and drug addicts are given programs after programs......they need to shut up and get a job like the rest of us......It must be nice for all those Democrats to take time off work and go to Denver.....They can't afford health care, gas, or food,,,,,but they can afford to buy a plane ticket, stay at a hotel for a week and buy tickets to watch Obama and the clintons slam people who work and earn a better life. You want health care, get a job. It you get laid off....go find another job....if you can't find one....move to where the jobs are......The only change Obama wants is every nickle and dime in my pocket. No way No how No obama. He is the most unqualified presidential contender in my lifetime. Atleast Kucinich was a mayor of a major city....Obama has run nothing but his mouth.
