Jesse Venture is the epitome of a media whore. Not saying he isn't right, or that he's wrong, but that he's a media whore.
Also, Ventura had thought about running for US Senate and has just released some book about something or other, and the book had some missives about how the current Bush admin has gone completely overboard on security, TSA, etc etc.
So he shows up to his book signing at the Mall of America with two bodyguards, at least one of them armed, and no reason to believe the other wasn't armed as well. On top of that, the MOA is a "Gun Free Zone," but apparently only gun free for the little folk.....
I agree with all but 1 thing he said....Im NOT responsible for a damn thing that the thugs in Washington do. It makes NO damn difference "who I vote for" or even "if" I vote. Nothing changes...I have NO control over those seeking to use the force of government to further their evil ends. Im coming to the realization that it may well take mass insurrection to quell this bloated parasite we call the Federal Government.

He's like the Brett Favre of politics - anything to keep the cameras focused on him. That's why I can't get too excited when he talks about maybe running for office again.

I would have likened him to Jesse Jackson but the Farve comparison is apt. If Ventura ever gets worse than he already is then we can compare him to Dion Sanders and Terrel Owens. Hot Dogs
