The new motown-inspired record, is named The Way I See It. I bought it today and it was more than worth it. He doesn't try to bring back retro r&b and soul by using samples like amy winehouse did. This album is all original music, produced by raphael. He's a really good songwriter and has definitely encapsulated that throwback sound. Even the recordings themselves have an old school feel to them. I'm pretty sure i read that he used some of the older recording techniques to craft this record.
