Bush Was Right
For all those that accused Bush of fabricating terrorism attacks for his political gain will have a different view with the recent events.

I doubt it West .... the Hatred for Bush is absolutely amazing and I don't think there is anything that will ever change a large portion of American's Minds.

If anything, they will BLAME HIM MORE and say it is because of Iraq or some other reason.

People are wanting his Head on a Platter as it is .... and it is a Shame for any President to have to worry about Protecting, Securing, and Defending the United States.

All that 911 conspiracy crap is just fodder for losers stuck in their parents houses with nothing better to do all day but scan the interwebs and watch endless silly ass videos made by equally sad losers.01-wingedeagle

I know of plenty of REAL conspiracies that are being foisted upon us to be distracted by this garbage. Real conspiracy?...Lets start with the Federal Reserve and go from there.04-cheers

Hey, he was very Presidential today and I was very appreciative of what he did. He put off the pardoning the turkey until Obama was done with his press conference. 05-stirthepot As for the terror thing, most were BS(or barely worthy of huge news) and done to scare the American people. Some may have been real but when you cry wolf so many times, it is hard to know when a real one is out there.

You forget who you're talking to Trip. This is a wet dream for Robert Al-N.

People can hate Bush all they want. The fact remains that this country has not been hit with another terror attack since 9/11. Bush and his team deserve a great deal of credit for that.

RE: Bush Was Right
Bush has been a scapegoat for too long. I do not agree with all of Bush's policies, i.e. immigration, abortion, stem cell, domestic policy, energy policy, but all in all you know what to expect from him. His main fault in my opinion was to sit ideally by when he is attacked by the left. That did not HELP HIS PARTY. Foreign affairs has shaped his presidency, and he has spent billions to protect Americans. We all would do the same if we had the same intel he has, as Obama is now finding out. The viciousness of the left is in contrast to the right, as you can see how Bush has prepared for transition, compared to the democratic transition to a new republican president..

Trip, you are so correct. What we learned from the 2 attacks on the WTC is that when the first one failed they came back stronger and added more targets. We should not forget that one of the highjacked planes never made it to its intended target...What we learned from the 2nd WTC attack is that we'd be idiots not assume OBL will try to finish what he started.

I would have attacked Iraq and wasted billions fighting in Iraq when they had nothing to do with 9/11 or even attack us? Fears. What a perfect name. You live your life in fear. It must be a really crappy way to live.

RobertN - - it is not "Fear" we live in - - in my World, we call it "Readiness" and we Expect the Worst, but Hope for the Best.

I would rather Expect the Worst and Prepare for it, than sit on my laurels until the Worst is that "World of Hurt Coming Down Upon Me" where I am frozen solid in Shock, Awe, and Caught by Complete Surprise as the walls are crashing in around me.

Heck !!! I live in Downtown Hurricane Alley and even Osama ain't got that kind of Destructive Power, so being Prepared for Total Destruction and Disaster is a Way of Life even if I had never been Trained for it.

You think me a Strange and Shadowy Guy for owning "So-Called Assault Weapons", yet I can kill a Dear, Bear, or clip the head off a Sitting Squirrel with a M16 - - I have a Model 1200 Riot Shot Gun so I can go Dove, Quail, Duck, Geese, Rabbit, and other small game hunting.
I have an M1600 .22 Long Rifle Automatic that looks just like a Mini M16 that will take a Squirrel down or a Rabbit down with hardly any damage. "The more Meat, the more you have to Eat".

My Weapons are for a Purpose, First and Foremost they are to Defend My Family, then to Feed Them.

What in your Book is Wrong with that ????

Is it because I choose the Weapons I am Trained on and can fix with Duct Tape, Bailing Wire, and Spit and am Extremely Confident in their ability to deliver the Desired Effect on Demand ??? Just asking ...

Or is it the Fact that Obama'Messiah is going to Ban all Production and Import of "So-Called Assault Weapons" and I am beating him to the punch and buying them up in Arm Loads - - you guys are just Sore Losers that Obama'Messiah is not going in Office Fast Enough to Stop me from Getting All Those Nasty "Assault Weapons I Want" - - nah nah na na nah !!!!!

Just be happy that he Won and will "Deliver You Up Soon" (Biblical Lingo there) and with the Financial Crisis so large and in our Face, I am one of the Few who is lucky enough to be able to afford all the "So-Called Assault Weapons" he wants before Obama'Messiah Steals the "2nd Amendment from out of the Constitution". I call that "Being Blessed at the Right Time" - - I don't care what you call it.

SO THERE .... :youmoron: :noisycricket: :bustacap: :moon2: :moon: 05-ban

BINGO.

Although I do think his policies on abortion and stem cell research are fine. Especially the latter. Research on mature stem cells has been paying off in spades.

How come this doesn't get mentioned so much?

RE: Bush Was Right
What is this thread refering to? The attacks in India?

If this is not about the attacks in India then we can just leave whatever Bush was right about in ambiguity and feel good.
