Ok doofus, Since you clearly are incapable of reading. I never said it wasn't a Christian Holiday anymore. I said:
Quote:Christmas is as much a secular holiday as it is a religious one for many people.
The fact that a government judge said that is has become in many respects a secular holiday is not what changed it into a secular holiday. It was the fact that many of things people do during Christmas has absolutely nothing to do with the birth of Jesus. The judge just recognized that.

Ok, asswipe, so what you're saying is its still a Christian holiday, it just isn't religious anymore? Makes perfect sense. 03-lmfao

Basically, what you non-believers are saying is that holidays are just about whatever people make them? Hmmm. I will have an interesting way to celebrate Obama Day. I am going to go to the bank, take out the biggest loan the bank will let me, quit my job, father a few illegitimate kids, blow my last paycheck on booze and tobacco, go buy a nice car, then whine about how the gov't needs to take care of me. Maybe it will catch on. Oh wait, I think it already has for you libs.05-stirthepot

I'm saying nothing of the kind. Your lack of intellectual integrity proves you to be too stupid for me to address anymore.

Given the patience you've shown in the past, it should be noted that that's a pretty remarkable accomplishment.

You do realize Christmas and most of its traditions (gift giving, tree decorating, etc) is derived from a Pagan holiday which was celebrated on 12/25 long before Jesus was a twinkle in anyone's eye, right? The only reason it falls in December is because the church saw it as an easy way to convert Romans.

Easter has similar Pagan roots.

Wow, the winter solstice. Man, thanks for teaching us something so brilliant. No way would we have known that on our own. Tell us more. Are the clouds made out of cotton?

I've never heard of anything about Easter having Pagan roots.

From what I have heard/read/seen, he is pretty much dead on. While the "reason for the season" is still Christian, most of the traditions celebrated are of pagan roots.

I guess "intellectual integrity" is insulting someone when they call you out for contradicting yourself, then crying and running away when they return the favor?

What's really funny is you insulted me while butchering a sentence.

The only holiday I celebrate is the writing of the Kama Sutra. THERE is a worthy holiday... 03-woohoo

By the way, the first commandment was "Be fruitful and multiply." To be good at multiplication, you need to practice...
