Was hopeing the "upgrade" would be performance focussed and transparent as far as user interphase. Hope the technical team can fix the shortcomings noted in the other thread. If not this is definitely a step backwards.

We're working on it. But to say it's a step backwards, even at the current status, ignores the tremendous new benefits our mods got, some behind the scenes work we got to increase scalability, and future roll outs of new features such as the warning system.
