Alamo Bowl
I know flyingswoosh says I never say anything good about coaches are refs.

Well ... watch the ref crew at the Alamo Bowl. It's the ACC's #1 crew, led by Jack Childress. They do a great job. The rest of the ACC crews, sadly, are mostly garbage.

The same can be said for most conferences. They have a decent crew, and the rest suck...

I agree. I think the SEC officials on 9/20, 10/4, and 10/18 did a horrible job. The ones on 9/27, however, did a pretty good job in my opinion. 05-stirthepot

Gosh, the refs in CUSA are pathetic. The best called conference game we played all year was UTEP when we had a split Big 10 crew calling the game.

Heck, the refs were so bad during the Marshall game, they literally cost us 2 TD's. The CBSC announcers were just flabbergasted by how bad the game was being called against ECU (home game by the way). We get flagged for things and then Marshall would do the same thing and no flags thrown. And who could forget the "Made Up" penalty. Yep, that's right they made up a penalty that is not a penalty and called it on us on a TD play.
