Yeah, Harvin, Ingram, Rainey, and Murphy are such non-issues. Shall I now move on to defensive guys?
My God, Tebow's good, but he isn't friggin' superman.
HARVIN DIDNT PLAY IN THE SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME MORON
i didn't understand what he was talking about either. Harvin's one of the best receivers in the country and they still beat bama without him.

There isnt a bigger turd in the entire NFL than Jeremy Shockey and that includes TO and Adam Jones.

RE: The Sugar Bowl
Utah dominated this game. Question to the board? Should Utah be in the national title discussion since they are the only undefeated team left?

Yes. Let's hope the AP voters have some balls.

If the Oklahoma and Florida game is sloppy, Utah could win it. Lets hope!

These guys deserve it. They played everyone on their schedule and come out 13-0. No one else can say that.

Quote:It won't hold up. Saban is calculating. He needed a feel for Utah and he now has it. Utah will not win this game.
True but you cannot afford to get behind any team with a guy like John Parker Wilson at QB. That ended up costing the Tide dearly.
Quote: So what happens if this holds up? I'd say Utah finishes #2.
Hate to throw a wet blanket on all this enthusiasm but if UT beats Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl then we should move up to #2.

So it's about who went undefeated and not about who's the toughest?
Thanks, I'll call Nutt and tell him to start scheduling nothing but weak teams. We should be able to go undefeated.
Doesn't work that way, Blah.
BTW, Ball State was undefeated at one time and ranked #12. How'd that work out?

RE: The Sugar Bowl
Ball State lost. Utah didn't.
Utah didn't play "nothing but weak teams." They have four wins against top 25 opponents -- #4 Alabama, #11 TCU, #17/#16 BYU and #24/#25 Oregon State.
I didn't hear the Pac 10 or the SEC or another B(C )S conference offering them an invite... That is the biggest crock of them all -- Non-BCS teams don't deserve the NC because they don't play in a BCS conference, but they won't get an invite to a BCS conference, so they'll never get the NC, no matter what they do. It's the ultimate catch-22.
At the beginning of the season, the players on the teams in the ACC, Big East, Big 1T1en, Big XII, Pac 10, SEC (and Notre Dame) go in knowing all they have to do is win out, and they will be national champions. The players of every team in Division II and III, as well as the FCS sub-division know the same thing. Only the members of C-USA, the MAC, MWC, Sun Belt and WAC know that whatever they do, they'll be told they don't deserve to be national champions, because of what conference they play in.
Utah beat everyone that was in front of them. What else could they have done? How can they help it that Michigan turned out to be such a bad team? I'm sure they didn't expect that when they scheduled them.

Ding ding ding.....we have a winner.
If those that say that Utah cannot win the MNC because they don't play the same schedule as the SEC and Big 12, then I expect Utah to get a phone call ASAP and invite them to one of the BcS conferences and see how they stack up. But we all know that won't happen.
Fact....Utah went 13-0 with the schedule they had.
Fact....Utah defeated 4 top 25 teams.
Opinion (carries as much weight as the Bcs)....Utah Utes are National Champions!

RE: The Sugar Bowl
I'm glad Utah stomped Alabama...
Now, no matter what happens in the BCS Championship game, the foundation upon which the game rests, the supposed matchup between the nation's 2 best teams, is unstable as hell, and everyone knows it...
