From a FYE going out of business clearance sale:
Too$hort: Get in where you fit in, blow the whistle, I love the bay, Gettin It.
De La Soul: Timeless: The Singles Collection
MC Lyte: The very best of...
Suicidal Tendencies: " (self titled debut?) , Lights Camera, Revolution
Judas Preist (all the remasterd versions): Screaming for Vengeance, Hell Bent For Leather, British Steel, Turbo
Paul Wall: Get Money, Stay True
Mike Jones: Self Made ( I think this is a mix tape cd and not a "real cd" )
MC Hammer: Platinum MC Hammer ( lolz..all his good stuff on one cd )
********
Listened to the follwoing so far
Both Suicidals:
80's speed metal FTW
Judas Presit: well I had that 2 disc SE w/ their hits on it... more good stuff through these cds though
Too $hort: Man, his cds would be a beast for just instrumentals. I am loving all the Oak town beats
But the overuse of "sex rhymes" seem to drag the overall experience down a little. The bass lines on these that I have listened to far really love my sub woofers in the car and at home
Nothing like some Old School Hammer time
The MC Lyte cd is bad ass.... man, I wish more female rappers would do what she did.
only brief tidbits of the the De La Soul cd.... I knew what I'd like so its good...
Mike Jones:
sounds like a mix cd... not bad...just not all that IMO
Paul Wall: I like his rhymes and beats.... about the only downside to it s far is again... its all about money, rims, pimpin, and reppin your hood.... granted he does it well.... and I do like it...but he needs to expand his subject matter.
