That was so stupid. He'd have had the job lying or not on his resume. It makes me question GT assuming it was the same resume. . .

UC does a full check on their coaches, unlike GT. :)

It'll be the same at Penn State after JoePa leaves...

Agreed.

Era's come and go. Just look at the new on down at Florida with Meyer. Then again, Bowden did actually build FSU's program from the ground up. Something even JoePa can't claim.

Maryland keeping Fridge: http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball...oss-season

I guess that Clemson win was enough to keep him there. Without that they'd be 1-11 with an OT victory over a 1-AA.

It was a free win anyway. Kansas loses a lot, and this year's team didn't have too many pieces worth keeping. They lose all the ones worth keeping...

Actually,Florida St had a pretty decent program under Bill Peterson in the 1960s before falling apart in the early 70s. Bobby Bowden rebuilt the program then took it to another level but he didn't do it from ground up.

Whether or not, Urban Meyer has an era such as Bowden's will depend heavily on John Brantley replacing Tim Tebow at QB next year.

That picture alone is enough for me to put a second back on the expired game clock.
