WVU's attendance average will rise a bit after the Backyard Brawl. Milan-Puskar Stadium will be full to capacity for that game...

UC vs. Illinois is sold out so UC will finish just shy of 34,000.

Pitt's attendance should also rise a few thousand as another sell-out looms for the Big East Championship game on December 5 vs UC.

I doubt Pitt's average will rise a few thousand after 6 home contests. But it should rise up a good bit...

I didn't major in math at Pitt, but if they are right now at ~51,800 for 6 games, that is roughly 310,000 for the year. Throw in another 65,000 and that is roughly 375,000 for 7 games. Doing the math, that brings the average to ~53,400. An increase of almost a 1,600, so lets' say a "couple" of thousand anyway.04-rock

If we do this by % capacity, UC would be at about 98% for the 2009 season. Can only sell the seats you have.
