Good one! In all seriousness, though, Notre Dame haters will be in a lot of pain over this hire for awhile. BK is cocky, even arrogant, and you don't want him talking to the press much about non-football stuff , but he can flat-out coach.

Yes, Kelly can coach. Can ANY coach win ENOUGH at Notre Dame to satisfy its fanbase which wants things to be like they were when there were no NCAA limits on scholarships and coaching time, and Notre Dame didn't have a TV production exec looking over the school's shoulder when they set up schedules. He is not about the allow the school to play a 1/3 "Cupcake U" schedule like the other Top 25 BCS schools "on his network's 'Dime'". You won't find FIU, North TX St., The Citadel, UT Chatt., Southern Ill., FAU, IN St. or the like on their schedule as you will on the other BCS leaders. In 2010, the closest they come is a game with Western Mich., a MAC team, and Army which has been down lately.
