RE: Carbon Tax Myths
#1 would work if they followed thru with it. Who exactly is really proposing to cut taxes? You saw what happened when gas taxes fell w/ diminished use...gov't pushed to raise rates to re-fill their coffers.

#4 is BS. It will hurt. Period.

#5, see #1. And remember this, the advocates saying to cut other taxes. Let's see if they remember that in a few years.

#6 is BS, sort of. We've already seen US good priced out of the marketplace. Manufacturing exists...where it's automated. See this post http://mjperry.blogspot.com/2009/12/manu...ls-to.html
When these people say "This argument assumes a static economy, sans adaptation and innovation" (which is funny coming from people who base their whole estimates on a static economy) what they mean is "People will lose jobs." See #1.

#7. I think is true.

#8. Who cares? Just another red herring.

RE: Carbon Tax Myths
Carbontax.org is hardly an unbiased site to get information about the Cap and Trade.

03-lmfao The only problem is the ignorance by many on the right about the subject.

It takes a big man to admit he is ignorant on this subject ROBERT, now if you could get the rest of the so called scientists that faked their results to admit they just don't know we'd be halfway home.

I am not ignorant on the subject. You and the righties are the ones who don't believe in science and are ignorant on the subject. Of course, being from WV and coal country, you were brainwashed into believing global warming/climate change it isn't a problem.
