It came from the newspaper , not sure which one [could have been press scimitar] not sure if it was donated or purvhased.


Signs like that are usually worthless since it costs more to move, re-set it than it is worth.

Yes. When the Memphis Publishing Company moved into their new building (1976, adjacent to the old building) the flag was donated to the Parks Commission. The Park Commission installed it at the LB.

If you zoom in there is a Champagne Velvet sign at the top right. I think that's on the same building that used to house Charlotte's Place bar.
