I liked 11 and 12. Never saw 13. They are decent.

Shrek 4
--much better than 3. Rumple is evil :D

Blade
--Snipes is too bad ass....

Initial D ( live action movie)
--sort of a F&F TD clone but not really ...more real racing focused.

Robin Hood AKA GLADIATOR 2
--should have been billed as a medevil action movie instead of a Robin Hood movie as there was little "Robin Hoodness" in it.

Went back through the Spidermans.
--I might ease up on three but I think they still fell into the trap of trying to cover too man heroes and villains.

Black Dynamite was f*cking awesome! It's a spoof on the blaxploitation films from the 70's. The man begins funneling heroin into local orphanages getting the orphans and countless others hooked in the process. It doesn't end there though!

Sherlock Holmes is probably one of the better movies I've seen in awhile. The Hangover was epic, and Yes Man was surpringly good... Ace Ventura kinda funny.

Disclosure: I'm way, way, WAY behind on movies. I just saw the LOTR movies maybe a year or so ago.

I liked Yes Man (although I was on a plane and still haven't seen the ending). But, it didn't strike me as Ace Venture humor. I was never a fan of Ace Ventura.

I was referring more to quality of comedy than style.

Saw Robin Hood last night. I enjoyed it. Didn't really have any complaints except I would have enjoyed seeing them use Friar Tuck a bit more onscreen.

I've watched a lot of Sherlock Holmes movies/TV in my life. Downey and Law did get the Holmes/Watson friendship down cold -- the occasional arguments, the way that roommates inevitably get on each other's nerves, but also the loyalty and concern for each other's welfare. Plus, the Holmes-Adler relationship comes across exactly as it should -- Holmes' inability to (1) accept, deep down, that a woman could have outsmarted him, or (2) admit that his sexual attraction to Adler played a role in her victory over him. Yet this is balanced by Adler's recognition that Holmes is possessed of gifts and powers no one else has, and her respect for those powers, and for Holmes himself.

Against all of these positive qualities, it must be admitted that the actual story of "Sherlock Holmes" just doesn't make a whole lot of sense, and to the extent it does make sense it is just not believable. Also, the explosions are much too "modern" for 1891 (this was probably director Guy Ritchie's fault more than anyone else).

I didn't feel like much happened in it. Looking back, it felt slow until the end. However, I wanted the (already long) movie to give me more. . .

How about some actual Robin Hoodness?

It took a while to establish itself, but since it gave the feeling that it would turn into a series, the LOTR series was slow in the first one but was crucial to establishing the characters. I got the same feeling with Robin Hood.

Should have been billed as a prequel. Its like, I liked the movie so to speak as a mid evil action movie but it lacked "Robin Hoodness" ...aka archery, steeling from rich and giving to poor, and the sheriff doing some dastardly deeds.... the whole movie felt like a set up for something more.

Prince of Persia

NOT BAD... liked it a lot. My only beef is what was up with all these British accents in mid-eastern setting movie? And the Princess looked way hotter than she did as Bond's red headed foil in Quantum of Solace. Those Hasassins were awesomely nasty. The action was top notch.

Yeah, Holmes had a good vibe too it. And the funny thing was I thought the martial arts in it would detract from it while in fact it made it better. The casting and acting really got this movie nailed right.

exactly what i thought. And yeah, she's definitely way hotter in this hair color. She was like that in Clash of the Titans.

and btw, quantom of solace, amazing movie. I was lucky to have seen it one day after watching casino royale for the first time. I was never a Bond guy and thus didn't see the latter in theaters. I really think seeing it the night before is what made me love quantom so much. I was amazed when i found out how many people didn't like it. I guess it truly is one of those situations where everyone has different tastes, because my tastebuds thought it was a flawless movie. weird how that can happen

looks like you hated the smaller, "plot driven" movies. I never saw Goats or the informant, but i watched 15 min of district 9 before turning it off. it was retarded
