Hate to say it but it definitely looks that way. I really hope everyone gives Strong a pass these first two years if it goes the way it looks like it might this year.

RE: Louisville fans
At least I picked this one. I didn't think the Cards had anything in the tank, and I was right...

I sure didn't see the rest of it...

Louisville played well at the end of the 2nd quarter. 20-6 Kentucky at half.

Louisville couldn't overcome its slow start. But the Cardinals hung in there.

A bad way to christen the newly-expanded stadium.

I was disappointed in the UofL crowd. It may have been a record, but the crowd didn't appear to be anywhere close to fully behind the Cardinals.

You think that was bad you should have been there in 98 when we opened the place up yet again to pUKe who I despise with a passion.

RE: Louisville fans
Did the fans follow Charlie Strong's request to be in their seats and loud prior to the game beginning? Or was it the same old thing, people meandor in through the 1st quarter and hang out nex to the beer stands and socialize?

RE: Louisville fans
I think most UofL fans realize how bad Kragthorpe was for the program. UofL's weakest positions going into the game were D-line (specifically the DEs) and WRs. UK exploited both of those weakness by running their RBs around the end a lot and forcing UofL to try and beat them with the pass.

The encouraging sign is that after such a bad 1st Quarter, I felt that UofL played a much better overall game for the remaining three quarters. We simply won't have the talent or depth (especially on the D-line) this year to win a lot of games but the way they played after the 1st gave me hope on the coaching front.

The most embarrassing thing about the game though is recording another L to the SEC's JV squad.

RE: Louisville fans
UofL outplayed Kentucky for 3 quarters. If the Cards hadn't dug themselves such a deep hole to climb out of in the first quarter, they'd have won. Drop that first quarter performance next time around, and y'all got it licked... 04-cheers
