Well its good to see where our priorities are. If we're going to have a sweet little shortfall, i'd rather see the money allocated more towards transportation and energy rather than entitlement programs and defense. Transportation and energy is where the jobs are. And if there are jobs created that will help pay off the national debt.

I'm with you, animus. The U.S. spends 70% of the entire world's military budget, at the same time we are arming all our enemies. I'd like to see a big reduction there...

But I still say we should eliminate the IRS and institute a national sales tax. Think of the savings for everyone, not having to deal with IRS forms every year. And the government gets their cut right off the bat, without any debate as to who owes what...
