UC lost at a BCS program's stadium, NC State. If we lose to Miami of Ohio in a couple of weeks we will be sure to let you know. Shameful behavior.

Bearcat faithful, I am not picking at you. I hope I am wrong, but watching Jones, justs reminds me of all those painful Kragthorpe games, I watched. We do not need another BE team to go bakwards like Cuse and the Ville did. 04-cheers

Can you explain to me again how losing to the 14th ranked team in the country in OT is embarrasing the BE? Since I never played a down of college football, I need an expert like you to explain it to me...

I'd wish you good luck with Buffalo next week; however, a top notch coach like Edsall should be able to get it done. Buffalo plays in the MAC, so it shouldn't be a problem...

r u confused when they played pitt was 15th and utah was recieving votes in most polls................

did u play because i did, u want to check me out, i played for bridgewater state in the 80's. as a freshman, i dressed 4 all varsity games................

Not at all. Utah is now ranked 14. We will not know how good most teams really are until the end of the season. But my point is that it is a stretch to say that Pitt embarrassed the BE since they lost in OT. Now if Pitt lost to a MAC team, then yes it would be an embarrassment - even in OT.

So stop casting stones like Pitt embarrassed the Big East. We was 3 point dogs, played like garbage and still took the game to OT. Utah also played like garbage.

I'll be a realist for a second. Edsell and Schianno are solid coach's but its looking like you're not getting the talent that you did 4-5 years ago. I hope this ain't true, but thats what this feels like.

Probably more. Uconn got beat by almost 2 TD's by Temple. Temple seems to be a pretty good team. Not really sure yet. But Utah has demostrated that they are a very good team for years now.

What is the relevance of this question? You continue to harp on this over and over. You never ask any other poster this question. If I did play CFB, does that mean that everything I wrote up to and prior is spot on?

Nope, I ran track, but then again, I dont have to play fb to know that Uconn would have been blown out at Utah. As far as I know, you make as much money as I do playing fb. And I dont make any money playing fb, therefore neither of us are experts. Stop making excuses for your teams very poor performance so far this season. And quit trying to deflect the issue at hand.

Sorry, I was being sarcastic. If you read a few earlier posts, I got called out on whether I played CFB in my past or not.

OK Stookey, why don't you keep those same thoughts in mind when you elect to shoot your mouth off about how bad of a coach Wannstedt is. There are plenty of players who were practicing in 90 plus degree weather doing 2 a days also for Wanny. No doubt there are plenty of players on Pitt's team who were much better than you who would disagree with your opinions on Wanny. Yet you come on here shooting your mouth off as God's gift to CFB, and if anyone disagrees with your assessment of Edsall's coaching performance, we don't know what we're talking about. What makes your opinions drip with irony so much is that Edsall and Wanny have the EXACT SAME coaching philosophies and make many of the same decisions.
