Lewis has not stepped up to the stardom that he brought on last year. He has talent but is not adjusting to the defense focused on him. As this other guy Graham came in and started to just run, Lewis is thinking way to much.

Our OC said as much today. He said the OL isn't completely at fault. Lewis hasn't been hitting the holes when they were there.

Down by 10 and we get the ball coming out of the half. Not where we want to be, but not out of it by any means. We need points on the opening possession.

RE: Pitt/Miami Game Thread
Pitt's D is playing pretty good considering that Miami has been running a hurry up offense all game so far. I wish I could say the same about the offense. But frankly, Sunseri ain't cuttin' it. Dion Lewis has lost something he had last year too...

Pitt could turn things around. But if they do, it will be at the perfect time to screw up the plans of another conference foe with more prospects (notice a hint of irony here?)... 03-banghead

For some reason the UConn fans on here hate Wanny. Maybe it is because Edsell is Wanny's bastard love child as a coach. They both want to run the ball, play good defense, and play field possession.

Basically Edsell is Wanny without the recruiting acumen, the championship rings, the signature win against a top 5 opponent and the kicking pornstache.

Sometimes, when a team dominates play-by-play but doesn't translate it into a big lead on the scoreboard, the opponent can regroup and blow past them.

Hopefully, this is one of those times.

Yes, that is what I was thinking. Miami should be at least another TD ahead. But because of all the mistakes, Pitt still has a good chance of coming out in the 3rd and tying or taking the lead, if they can come up with a different offensive scheme.

Miami has totally dominated so far. They've manhandled Pitt on both sides of the ball like they did to USF last year.

Fortunately for Pitt, the Canes have shot themselves in the foot with penalties a couple times in Pitt territory, or this game could be out of hand.

PITT HAS 2 ADJUSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

3 AND OUT PITT SUXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, NO ADJUSTMENTS ESPN SAYING HOW WELL COACHED MIAMI IS.............

Pitt's offense is a joke. Miami doesn't look great, but Pitt looks very mediocre.

I'm really sad that they don't teach typing, spelling, or English as a First Language to former big time college football players.

Pitt's offense has looked awful, but dont fool yourself Miami is right now the best ACC team and their defense will make many teams look bad. Im not looking forward to our meeting later in year.
