I was talking about tonight only, and really just the first half. I thought we were capable of much better. Obviously that is judging our team based on a pretty high standard.

RE: UC vs South Florida Game Thread
it was not a pretty win but it was a win, nonetheless. Villanova spanked LOUISVILLE tonight at philly so Louisville probably took a reaming from the refs. I am disappointed again in Thomas. Fouled out, no points but attempted another stupid 3 pointer. 2 REBOUNDS for thomas..thats not going to help us win many Big East games if he doesn't get out of that funk. No idea what Mick is going to do to get into his head that NO 3 POINT SHOOTING for him or Gates. Maybe sit him out a game if he continues. A win is a win and I'll take anything we can get right now. Hoping Syracuse, Villanova and Connecticut come back to earth. I really dont' think they are that good. Just lots of breaks going their way. Maybe some of that will rub off on Us.

RE: UC vs South Florida Game Thread
10 steals and only 7 turnovers for UC....outstanding

we were 7-20 from 3p range I believe....better
SK: GREAT

we were outrebounded....not good. Thanks Thomas....uh...like, you are not a guard-n-stuff. Camp out in the paint and bang for pete sake.

Overall I will take it.

16-1 (3-1) I will take it.
PS: we played Nova tougher than UofL did...

I'm thinking we go 2-1 over next three:
Cuse L
ND W
St.J W

we could also be 0-3 easily.....

Just got back. Was disappointed int he crowd. Probably 6500 or so. This team deserves better, but the fans there were into it. While it was not the best performance, it was a win against a fiesty team that always seems to hang around and never really felt like they were in danger. Hopefully they are saving themselves for saturday.

Ill take 1-2. Then take down Rutgers and WVU at home to be at 6-3. Wouldn't be to terrible for the first half of conf. play.

Ibrahima Thomas in the first half takes a 3-pointer the first time he touches the ball. A guy that shoots 50% from the free throw line should NOT be taking 3 pointers. He is 7 feet tall. Get your a-- under the f----n' basket. Yancy---do NOT dribble the ball around at the top of the free throw area. You are not a damn guard. Get YOUR a-- under the basket, too.

Not a very good effort from either Gates or Thomas. That led to rebounding woes and lots of fouls in the paint to keep USF in the game. Yet they still win by 8.

Great effort by Kilpatrick and Wilks. Team finished strong from the line. Again forced more TO than AST allowed.

I think we need at least one of the next three. Two wins would be huge.
