Bad year for the conference, but the Big East was #6 this year. Any rating that had the league below the WAC is just laughable considering 5 of the 9 WAC teams would have been winless in the Big East.

I tend to agree. The ESPN poll is the opinion of all of ESPN's college football 'experts', who are often proven to be complete morons when their lock of the week turns out to be wrong...
