I'd like to see more corporate whale hunting though.

If we keep going 4-8 in football our revenue will continue to grow as we collect bowl dollars and have zero bowl expenses.

Yes, I know that eventually tickets/merchandise won't be sold if we turn into a losing program.

BTW, for all Den members -- some of us are going to get together next Tuesday (17:00) at The Old Roadhouse on the West side (i.e., best side) of town. I have some inside info to share, but it is simply too sensitive for posting in the Den.

Hey Rag, I was disappointed in last FB season too (bitterly so). But how about waiting for this year to play out, establish MORE THAN ONE 4-8 seasons, before we worry about "keeping" going 4-8.

Those financial numbers are from 2009. I assume when 2010's get posted they will trend similarly.

RE: What point do you make a change?
How much of that increase in revenue is due to conference affiliation..?

AND... so we're making MORE money but have less to spend..?

Sounds like CBO numbers

I have to give Mick credit- Cats played hard tonight and executed on offense

One more Quality win without a bad loss (Providence) I think they make the tournament

Since they have 20 wins, and a win over a Top 25 team, I think they could handle the one bad loss and still make the dance.

Gutless clown won't post? Shocker.

I admit I am having some fun at the wowsy-wowsey-woo-woo crowd's expense. I'll get it out of the system this afternoon. Promise.

Give me a lunchroom lady hairnet. Today's special? Humble pie.

Good to hear Rath. I hope Eastside shares this common goal.

I want God Shamwow's head on a pike. Figured I could smoke that rat out of his hidey hole.

When I'm made King, he is first against the wall.

No doubt. I just got this book "how to win friends and influence people" and apparently I am doing it ALL WRONG!

Who knew?

The follow up is a rather light-hearted read:
