Nice leadership mallory
Mayor suing city over $500 car allowance. Let's see, mayor makes $121,000 a year. City is in major deficit. Layoffs and other cuts have been bandied about. Way to lead by example mayor.

It sounds like Mr. Mayor has failed to report his extra benefits as imputed income. Hello???? IRS?????

Bad news cycle for Mal's:

Quote:Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory said today that because of a loss of $52 million from the state, the streetcar project will run on a much shorter route.

The streetcar route will go only from Government Square in downtown Cincinnati to Over-the-Rhine.

The city will not do the route that includes Uptown or the riverfront.

This just went from bizarre to surreal.

This is worse that Mike Brown charging the county $67 million for 'stadium upgrades'.

Could be a while. As long as the same voters keep voting, we will be stuck with idiots like him. Makes me glad I don't live in Cincinnati, although Cincinnati's plight does affect me living in Loveland too.

And in Cincinnati, that is quite an accomplishment. He should be proud.

Under Cincinnati's ancient geniture laws, his last name gives him an unquestioned right to either a Judgeship or a seat in the State Assembly upon getting booted out of City Hall.

He is going backwards.

His brother is a judge. Other one is in the Assembly. Nice guys. But not exactly merit-based placements.

Only if he pays for his hookers with cash, like every other person who has ever paid for sex.

Seems like Mallory has been mayor forever. Was he the first mayor right after Luken left office?
