The live coverage stream is very good - multiple camera angles and decent announcing.

It looks like Pitt will beat Louisville in game 1 - they lead 7-2 in the 8th.

Agreed. I was afraid it would be a webcam from the pressbox or something. Great job by the BEast on this one!

Silly question. Is it only available live or is it archived so it can be started from the top of the first an hour or so after the game starts?

I should have read the question better. I don't know if the games are archived.

The St. John's pitcher is tall and lanky. He looks tough and he throws hard.

UC needs to slow down the St. John's pitcher - he is working at his pace.

Bases load, non out! Hit them now, UC!

Edit: 2nd and 3rd, non out! 1 in. 3 -1 St. Johns.

He's a very good pitcher. 8 wins this season, 2.56 ERA and 93 strikeouts. K'd UC 10 times earlier this season.

Isler still pitching in the bottom of the 8th. Very solid game by this young man.

Johnnies score 1 in the bottom of the 8th. Visit to the mound but Isler stays in.

And that will just about do it. St. John's goes up 8-4 after a grand slam.

Crap. St. John's hits a 4-run blast in the bottom of the 8th to take a 8 - 3 lead...

Doh! Isler goes out, grand slam. 8-3 Johnnies in bottom of 8th.

Went too long with the starting pitcher. Unless they have a huge comeback UC is looking at an elimination game with Louisville.

They had to try and stretch Isler out, the bullpen has been very suspect.

My gosh he was into the 8th inning!! What is your definition of stretching someone out? Rubber band man?

Well, his last game he went nine, if they could have used him the whole game today I bet they would have.

I'm not much of a baseball guy, but I do know that managers always play the favorable percentages. If the best bet is to stretch a starter (must be a real 03-puke bullpen), then it's a move you have to live (and die) with.

The UC bullpen has been pretty bad all year. Even with a big lead, there was a chance they would blow it. I am surprised it was Strenge that came in and gave up the homerun, although he did give one up in relief against UConn as well.

His pitch count was 112. At that range it is usually just a matter of time. The further you push that number the more you risk the game and the health of the pitcher. It is a coaching issue.
