Eastside, I just want accurate information in our news. Neither side is accurate, and in fact, actually have become so biased that it is hard to believe any of it. Fox, MSNBC, CNN... all show bias, all are attrocious news organisations IMO.

I think that Stewart does a great job of showing the hypocrisy of the news media. He has taken shots at the left, although he loves to lambaste Fox News, no doubt.

Awwww, B loves rath. BTW, you spelled my name wrong. where are the f%ckin grammar police now?

Quote:Rath's original point was that the non-objective media would have flayed a republican (or Libertarian) for doing this

One problem is they portrayed common as some uber gangsta rapper which you and I both know isn't true.

Now seriously, do YOU give a damn about common being at the WH? Does his lyrics make your blood boil? Is obama doing that great of a job that this is all you republicans have to b!tch about?

Quote:but its just uptight white people doing their thing if their guys lives at 1600 Penn. Ave.

If the shoe was on the other foot, i'm sure the democrats would be having a fit. The democrats cater the the black population as the vast majority of them don't feel a connection with the republican party.

So I see the agenda behind the dems

whats the agenda behind the republicans making much ado about nothing.

I would love for all of us to agree to watch a news program and then discuss what we each saw from the program. why we feel it's accurate or bias etc. alternating different programs and networks. any takers?

Renaissance Man? It sounds like you support the Black Panthers, want to kill cops, are a misogynist, love Jeremiah Wright, etc. You did buy his album after all and sound like a long time supporter of him - and therefore are promoting everything he has ever said (at least according to Hannity and the meme you are promoting by posting this).

Of course, I'm not SAYING you are any of these things. I'm just asking the serious questions that need to be asked... Is Rath a member of the Black Panthers? Does Rath hate white people?

Going to go 3rd person today.

Rath loves "Be" and "Like Water For Chocolate." Incredible albums to study for the bar.

Rath's original point was that the non-objective media would have flayed a republican (or Libertarian) for doing this but its just uptight white people doing their thing if their guys lives at 1600 Penn. Ave.

But you completely missed that. Rath is not surprised.

And yes, Rath has most of Common's stuff going back to his days in the 90's when he chipped in on maybe the best album of all time of its genre, The Roots' "Things Fall Apart."

Give it a listen sometime, Whitey.

I'm much more comfortable with honkey (what I was typically called on the block growing up).

You really have to watch the Jon Stewart clip to see how ridiculous this manufactured controversy is - and how, no, the rest of the media does not do this. Especially rich is his clip of Hannity playing a clip of Ted Nugent telling his audience that he wants Barack and Michelle to "suck" on the barrel of his gun - and then immediately afterwards saying Ted is a friend of the show and he wouldn't denounce what he said (thereby giving tacit approval of Ted's statement regarding assassination of our President).

On a not entirely unrelated topic, it was reported today that GWB was eating souffle when he received the call from Obama about killing OBL. Can you imagine the hissy fit Fox News would be having over Obama eating souffle? Megan Kelly would be tsk, tsk, tsking so hard and Kilmeade would be saying "who in real American even knows what that is?" I'm sure they'd get at least as much air time out of it as they did when Obama ordered Dijon mustard.

Although it is good to hear he wasn't at the sizzler. http://FunnyOrDie.com/m/5lrs

A well made souffle is as good as it gets. Classic french cooking seems to be frowned upon lately, I blame Fox News.
