Maybe. I saw a rumor on another board that Chris Shumate was headed there in some capacity.

RE: Texas A&M hires Murray State's Kennedy
Steve Prohm has been named the new men's head basketball coach at Murray State, taking over for his former boss, Billy Kennedy.

Murray State athletics director Allen Ward said Monday that Prohm is the right choice to build on the success the Ohio Valley Conference school has had in the past few years.

Prohm has spent five years at Murray as an assistant to Kennedy, who was named head coach recently at Texas A&M.

During that time, the Racers won back-to-back OVC regular-season championships, and the school made its 14th appearance in the NCAA tournament in 2010, when Murray defeated Vanderbilt. The Racers played in the National Invitation Tournament this past season.

Prohm had a 12-season association with Kennedy, including stops at Southeastern Louisiana and Centenary.
