Big East/SEC Challenge: Cincinnati at Georgia
According to Jon Rothstein's twitter.

http://twitter.com/#!/JonRothstein

Leslie and Thompkins went to the draft. They won't be a cupcake but they should be a fairly easy win.

Not super exciting like Kentucky would have been but it should be good test. @Georgia, @Xavier, Oklahoma at home is solid rpi trio lets see how the rest of the schedule plays out.

What does Georgia's team look like next year? Weren't they close to being a tourny team last year?

Georgia made it last year as a 10 seed. They should be pretty good in 2011-2012.

Don't we have a home football game against UConn that day? Hope they schedule the times accordingly.

They lost their two best players in Thompkins and Leslie to the draft. They shouldn't be that good.

They have Kentavious Caldwell Pope (SG) coming in who is a McD'er and 3 guys 6'10 or taller, which they will need with their top 2 rebounders gone. Gerald Robinson the transfer from Tenn St. is the only scoring threat I think returning for them.

So Notre Dame, Marquette, Villanova, and South Florida are ones left out this go around. Glad uc is in, @ Georgia will help schedule, and look forward to beating SEC team.

RE: Big East/SEC Challenge: Cincinnati at Georgia
I have trouble seeing the Big East losing this challenge at 12 vs. 12 teams very often. The teams left out are usually going to average below average (as the TV networks are going to want most of the top teams playing). Add in that the Big East is usually top to bottom better anyway, and I expect this to be more lopsided that the Big Ten/ACC Challenge was for years.

Edit: Actually looking at the teams left out, 3 were NCAA Tournament bound last year. Maybe this challenge will balance things better than the Big Ten and ACC tended to do (usually leaving out a bottom team). The Big East will still dominate though.

They beat UK at home (UGA) last year.

They also lost to Xavier. Plus, as stated, they lose some key guys.
