Considering he covered UC better than the Enquirer does, it's a shame. Appears his replacement is Andrea Adelson who spent "the past year writing about the nation and non-AQ teams".

Very disappointing. Adelson might be alright but Bennett was awesome. Was good at coverage of teams, was level headed and fair, very knowledgeable and a damn good writer to boot. To add insult to injury the reason he is leaving is to join "Adam Rittenberg on the Big Ten blog as we beef up our coverage there."

Brian did a really good job on that blog. Sorry to see him leave.
