What is Doug Marrone doing for practice......
hitting his kids with a hammer or something?

I don't think I can recall a team with this many injuries this early BEFORE the season.

http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry...8/31328653

http://espn.go.com/blog/bigeast/post/_/i...layers-out

Syracuse sophomore cornerback Keon Lyn has a dislocated right shoulder and offensive guard Jarel Lowery tore a ligament in his right knee, sidelining them from practice indefinitely.....Lyn played primarily on special teams but went into fall practice penciled in as the starter at one cornerback spot. His injury means three of four projected starters in the secondary are out.

So SU is down 3 of 4 DB's and 6 O-Lineman. I like the note about Marrone having to line up at center during practice.

Man, looks like Syracuse is getting hit with the injury bug like Cincinnati was last year. Hope your depth is a little better than ours.

Most of these guys should be back by Rhode Island...I hope. A lot of our freshman have been doing well, which is good because it looks like they have to play right away.

We had the same problem last year, but fortunately we have much better depth this year. Last year we had to play with about 56 players all season, and lost 6 additional players during the course of the season. At one point last season SU played a couple of games with less than 50 players. This will be the first season that we will have some depth to start the season. The Cuse should still win 8 games this season.

Dana Holgorsen has been running all his practices on grass, and anyone doing cut blocks during practice is up the creek too. WVU is going out of their way to avoid major injuries...

Syracuse should try the same - or hire a new stregth coach...

There is nothing wrong with our strength and conditioning coach. You will find that out first hand once again when the Eers come to the Dome in about 2 months. 05-mafia

Want to bet? Syracuse starts looking for a new strength coach right after WVU runs right past all the Orange players sitting on the sidelines with injuries... 05-stirthepot

Yeah, but we do joint practices with the Jets, so be sure to have your players looking out for those extended legs on the way down the sidelines. 03-wink

Cheers,
