Jacksonville has trouble supporting an 8 home game NFL schedule. No way they support a 948 game baseball season worth a darn.

I had heard about the "Marlin Mermaids" but I think this is the first time I have seen a photograph.

40 years ago, the old ABA franchise in Miami ("The Floridians") had "ball-girls" dressed in even skimpier outfits than these Mermaids. And they were barely legal according to the people who were there.
